Positive-reinforcement training is based on scientific research about how dogs learn new information. At present, positive training is the only training method backed by actual science. That research shows a dog learns more quickly and effectively when rewarded for good behaviors, not punished for bad behaviors using intimidation, fear, and even pain.
Through positive training you will create a strong bond with your dog that is based on trust, respect, and love. At Among the Wild, our goal is to not only help with your dog’s obedience, but to give dog owners an understanding of how they can better understand and communicate with their dog.
