The Lodge
Among the Wild Pet Lodge is located on a rural, private wooded lot nestled in the mountains just outside of Roaring Spring, PA and serves Altoona, Hollidaysburg, Martinsburg, Roaring Spring, Bedford and surrounding areas. The lodge is owned and operated by Jessica King, a certified professional dog trainer, who is Pet CPR and First Aid certified. The lodge is adjacent to her residence for added peace of mind, security and around-the-clock care.
Unlike most dog kennels and pet boarding services, we ensure your pet gets plenty of attention and individualized care. At Among the Wild, we understand the importance of physical and mental stimulation for your pet and incorporate both into our daily routine. Your dog will get one-on-one attention each day along with lots of playtime in our large, secure yard.
Our intimate lodge features indoor, climate controlled, individual bedrooms with solid walls and doors, which are perfect for reactive dogs or regular dogs alike. We provide raised beds and bowls as well as televisions in each room to ensure your pet is not only comfortable but entertained during their stay.

Lodging Prices
50% deposit required to book room. All new
dogs are required to do a trial day at The Lodge
prior to booking an overnight/extended stay.
